Apple tart with gorgonzola cheese

2 Granny Smith apples
2 oz Gorgonzola cheese
1 oz butter
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 frozen pre-made puff pastry


Partially thaw pastry. Dust with flour and roll out a little with rolling pin. Slice apples thinly and on bias. Using a knife, cut pastry to fit metal pan, preferably about 5" in diameter. Add butter then sugar to bottom of pan. Arrange apple slices then top with cut pastry shell. Place in pre-heated 350-degree oven and cook until golden brown (approximately 20 minutes). Carefully flip cooked tart onto serving dish then add cheese.

Serves 1.
