About Us

California Country Television

California Country TV is a 30-minute weekly tour of the state's dynamic food industry. We feature stories on the people, places and lifestyles that have made California the nation's largest food-producing state.

Produced by the California Farm Bureau Federation, California Country is the latest in the organization's long-running commitment to educating consumers, media and legislators about the importance and incomparable bounty of food, fiber and flowers grown in California. Farm Bureau has produced regularly scheduled television programs since 1964 and more than 2,200 episodes of California Country have aired since its title changeover from The Voice of Agriculture in 1997.

California Country Magazine

Just like our weekly television program of the same name, California Country magazine connects the people, places and stories of rural life to your life—no matter where you live. The magazine is published six times a year and is one of the many benefits enjoyed by Farm Bureau consumer members. Subscriptions to the magazine are also available for only $9 per year—half off the annual cover price. To receive a free copy of California Country magazine, please request a complimentary copy.

Here's what you'll find in each issue of this lively, award-winning publication:

  • Colorful articles and short features
  • Recipes from chefs and farm families
  • Gardening and landscaping tips
  • New products from California farms and ranches
  • Seasonal produce offerings
  • Book reviews
